I wonder what I should have for lunch today... With that thought in mind, I opened the refrigerator door.

I had gone grocery shopping three days ago, so the fridge was packed with ingredients. I recall having some leftover chicken. Hmm, maybe I should make oyakodon[efn_note]Oyakodon[/efn_note]. I'm in the mood for a hearty rice bowl.

"Eggs and onions... I don't have anything fancy like Japanese parsley, but I do have green onions. This one is good." I tied my hair back with a rubber band, twirling it and secured it with a clip barrette, then put on a traditional white apron with lace around the collar, a style I've been wearing for a long time.

I do like cute aprons, but in the end... I wonder if it's my mother's influence that makes me choose to wear a traditional apron. When it comes to cooking, the traditional apron is the best choice. The sleeves stay clean, and it's less likely to retain cooking odors.

Just as I was about to start slicing the onions, the doorbell rang. (Ding-dong, ding-dong)

The doorbell continued to ring incessantly. Who on earth could that be.

The dogs were barking... no its not barking sound. In fact, it sounded more like they were happily wagging their tails and happily welcoming someone.

I headed toward the entrance, and through the frosted glass, I could see a large figure. Not this person again...

I opened the entrance door in silence, and there was a man standing there with a wild boar slung over his shoulder, grinning.

"Hey, I remembered to ring the doorbell today." He said with a self-satisfied look.

"I already have my newspaper. Please go home," I replied, feeling irritated. (t/l: a phrase to shoo away scammers/ strangers)

His expression got on my nerves, so I replied coldly, closed the front door right in front of his nose, and said nothing.

"Hey... wait a minute. What's this about the newspaper? Open up!! I've got some good game!" He insisted while unabashedly pounding on the front door.

Stop it, you'll break the door if you keep banging like that!

I sighed. What was this about? Irritated, I opened the front door again. There, a man with drooping animal ears was hanging his head, looking defeated.

"What can I do for you, Knight Commander?" I asked.

As soon as he saw my face, the man broke into a wide smile, his animal ears perking up, and his tail wagging vigorously, almost about to burst. He looks like my dog when he show this happy face.

"I encountered a big sangria during training, so I hunted it down. The meat from these creatures is top-notch. I'm offering this as a tribute, so please make another delicious meal for me." He said, making his case at the front door.

"So... I'll say it again, this is not a res-tau-rant." I exclaimed, emphasizing each syllable with exasperation, while giving him a stern look.

It was as if there was disbelief written all over his face.

"What is this place if it's not a meal restaurant when you use ingredients I've never seen before and keep serving delicious dishes one after another?" What's unbelievable is your thought process! How on earth does this look like a restaurant to you? Huh?

"It's just an ordinary household. Besides, I'm not a chef. I'm just a regular citizen." How many times have we had this conversation?

The man lowered his eyes in a troubled manner. He didn't whimper, but it was as if I could hear a soft, plaintive Kuun sound.

"I want to eat the food you make," he said, making my heart skip a beat. I felt a little flustered as he stare at me with his amber-colored eyes, his gaze intense.

I have to admit, this beastman man was quite handsome. He appeared to be a snow leopard-type beastman. He had a rugged face, and you could tell even through his clothes that he had well-defined muscles. And occasionally, when he smiled, you could catch a glimpse of his slightly wild canine teeth, which added to his charm. His short hair had a silvery hue, almost like ash, and on top of it were animal ears covered in fur the same color as his hair.

His tail, adorned with dark, indistinct patterns, drooped in a despondent manner. If I don't offer a meal here... he's likely to stick around for hours.

"Alright then," I conceded. "Anyway, I was just about to start cooking, so you can eat here."

"Really?!" He rushed towards me, as if he was about to give me a bear hug, so I hurriedly stopped him.

"For now, you come in through the veranda. Please refrain from entering the house with your game from the front door."

"That's true..." As if he knew his way around the house, the man obediently made his way towards the garden.

And now...

The man was leaning on the dining table, staring intently at the cooking process with intense interest.

He is Chronos Aion, the Commander of the First Knights in this country. He's 30 years old and, interestingly, still single... and apparently, he's a Marquis lord.

I didn't hear this from him, though. It's what I've heard from his subordinates.

This nobleman... for some reason, he started coming to my place, thinking it's a meal restaurant. As you might have realized by now, this man was from a different world. Looking back, our first encounter was quite memorable...

As I recalled that moment, my eyes wandered off into the distance.

Jyzciel~

So, I'm already translating chapter 10 and I just want to talk about the point of view of the story. I've been doing it in hybrid of First and Third Person but it also put me off sometimes. Like wait what? It confuse me sometimes, like why did the author changes this sentence in third person/first person?

So, I decided to just put the whole story in First-person POV. I choose this pov because as you can see, every chapter starts with '*** day of my life in the countryside', so I would just make it like MC's journal or blog or something.

Well that's all for the rant~
